I’ve seen tassels on just about everything lately from earrings and bracelets, to totes and baskets. They add a touch of flair and fun to all things. Yes, everything! It’s like a party in the form of a tiny (or large) piece of fringe!
You can either buy tassels, or get crafty and make your own. You don’t have to be a seamstress if you choose to make them, and either route won’t break the bank, which is a win-win in my book. DIY tassels can be made from just about anything including, wool, twine, cotton embroidery thread, tissue paper and leather and suede.
I rounded up some of my favourite DIY tassel projects to brighten up your day, and inspire you to incorporate a tassel (or ten) into your life. Get your tassel on!
