My kid will not eat vegetables. It is terrible. There is all this bribing involved and desperate attempts on my husband’s and my part to get her to just eat one flipping piece of a vegetable. She did not fall for the line about broccoli: “Oh, look, you can eat a cute little tree!” Her response: “Trees are gross to eat.”
So, I have to be sneaky and hide vegetables wherever I can. Thankfully, she eats up these ice blocks, and I make it sound like a special treat. “Wow, you can have one of these every day—even for breakfast!”

Berry Yoghurt Kale Popsicles
My kid will not eat vegetables. But they will eat these!
- mixed berries: 2 cups (I use a frozen package of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.)
- banana: 1
- kale: 2 cups
- greek yoghurt: 1 cup
Step 1: Combine ingredients into a blender and pulse until combined. (I add a little water or milk for a smoother blend.)
Step 2: Pour into your popsicle mold and freeze.
This recipe makes about six popsicles with enough left over for a small smoothie while they wait for the pops to freeze.
My four year old also helps me make the popsicles. She pours every ingredient into the blender and presses the button. (She loves that part.)
