Jessica Alba believes that hypnobirthing helped her stay focused during her first labour and delivery.
Jessica used hypnobirthing techniques when she was pregnant with daughter Honour Marie, 2, and credits it with helping her stay relaxed during childbirth: “I highly recommend it. It just makes you chill. I was freaked my first time going into labour, like, ‘What if I panic? What if I just freak out and am not prepared for it?’ This just prepares you. ” She says that being pregnant with baby #2 is a little different: “A little harder on the body. My daughter still wants to be picked up and ever since my belly popped she’s really on me. ”
Jessica shared that she is proud to be involved with a new website called HopScout, which highlights parent blogs and products for kids: “I think the coolest part so far is I know as a mum how difficult it is to try and balance work and being a mum. We gave an opportunity to stay-at-home parents to completely work from home. I just love that we are encouraging and promoting parents to stay at home and raise their kids the way they want to, but they can also help provide some income which every family could use. ”
Have you tried hypnobirthing? What did you think of the experience?
