I was 10 years old the first time I visited Walt Disney World. I remember being in absolute awe as we walked down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. The colours, the sounds, the characters—each sight more exciting than the last. In the eyes of a child, the park was a never-ending land of excitement and adventure. My family explored the park for hours, hitting up one attraction after another, soaking in the Disney culture, and laughing until our sides hurt. When the sun began to set, my heart sank knowing the fun and magic were nearly over. It was then that my mother explained that Magic Kingdom was only one of the many parks and attractions that make up Walt Disney World. The days following were some of the most memorable of my childhood.

Now, 25 years later, I’m planning a trip back to Walt Disney World with children of my own. I can’t wait to share the magic with them and create new memories as a family. To make sure we make the most of our trip, I’ve compiled a list of the most must-see Walt Disney World attractions. Between all of the parks, there’s so much to do, but these rides and experiences top our Walt Disney World bucket list.
