Finger paint is a great activity to do with toddlers! Here are our instructions to make your own edible, homemade version with ingredients you already have at home.
Supplies:
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/3 cup of flour
- 2 cups of water
- A few drops of food colouring
- Plastic cups
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar into a sauce pan.
Add 1/3 cup of flour to the saucepan as well
Mix with 2 cups of water and whisk until smooth. Turn on the heat and stir continually until the mixture thickens
Pour into your plastic cups equally. You’ll need one cup for every colour of paint you’d like to make.
Mix in a couple drops of food colouring and stir until completely dissolved. Let cool completely before allowing your little toddler to stick their fingers in and get dirty!
