Caramel "Apple" Grapes
While caramel apples are a delicious fall staple, they’re also sticky and difficult to make. I mean, how does the caramel manage to get on my elbows?! Or my hair? So, instead of…
- grapes, washed
- melting caramels
- walnuts or other nuts/toppings, crushed
Step 1: Melt the caramels in a small bowl with about 1 teaspoon of water to help thin it out. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until just melted.
Step 2: Dry the grapes (so the caramel sticks) and stick a toothpick in the top.
Step 3: Dip in the caramel, then roll in crushed nuts (optional) and place on a plate lined with parchment or foil. Allow caramel to set and enjoy!
Store them in the fridge until ready to serve, and your family can enjoy snacking on these caramel "apple" grapes all week long! Switch up the toppings with different nuts, sprinkles, crushed chocolate, or just enjoy them topping-free.
