Jeimy Henrriquez, a missing teen girl from Florida, has been found and reunited with her mother, Ana Quintanilla. This teen was picked up in North Carolina after being reported missing this past Saturday, November 27th, 2021.
According to a report from Fox News, Henrriquez met an “older gentleman” online while playing a video game called ‘Free Fire Max’. He picked her up Saturday morning, with her bookbag and cellphone in hand.
Henrriquez Regrets Going With the Man
After the whole ordeal, Henrriquez stresses that other teens her age should think twice about getting into a car with someone they meet online.
“We went to get gas and he was with his friend, brother, and sister-in-law,” Henrriquez recounted. “We were there a while and then left. I called my mum to tell her I was OK, and the next day I called her again to send her the address to where I was.”

More than likely, whatever the allure was for her to go with this man in the first place didn’t pan out as expected. Something that a teenager wouldn’t yet know is often the case.
Fox News’ report states that when Henrriquez first called her mother, she was crying and hungry, but she hung up. While police were able to ping the call, it didn’t give them her exact location in North Carolina.
Henrriquez calling her mother back with the address is what brought her home.
Jeimy Henrriquez Is Only 15-Years-Old
Authorities did not reveal the name of the man who picked up Henrriquez, but did comment about the importance of awareness when your children spend time online.
Richard Rand, North Miami Beach Police Chief, presses the importance of being “very mindful” of what children are doing online. Particularly during the holiday season, when predators are most active.
At this time, no further details have been made available about potential arrests.
